 
          Nelly Lammond married Capt. DeHart during the Civil War in 1863.  Capt. DeHart could not get leave so Nelly and her bridal party came to his camp and a civil war artist provided the Harper's Weekly newspaper's readers an account of the wedding that took place in the camp of the Seventh New Jersey Volunteers on the Potomac.
